
DAD-CDM Takes Center Stage: Keynote Panel at EIC 2024
February 15, 2024On 25 February, Max Lesser, Danielle Deibler, and Stephen Campbell from the OASIS Defending Against Deception Common Data Model (DAD-CDM) Open Project participated in a virtual roundtable at RightsCon titled, “United Against Deception: Standards to Build Resistance Using Collaborative Intelligence.”
With program contributions from Mark Finlayson, the session explored DAD-CDM’s efforts to extend the STIX (Structured Threat Information Expression) standard to represent various forms of deception, including influence operations and market manipulation.
Each year, RightsCon brings together global leaders to address critical issues on human rights in the digital age. Through interactive workshops, strategic roundtables, and private sessions, RightsCon is where a global movement comes together to advance a more free, open, and connected digital world.
The 2025 event took place in Taipei and online from 24-27 February.
